Kara is a Board Certified Physician Assistant at Mandel Dermatology’s Greenvale location.

Kara graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and then went on to earn her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Prior to becoming a PA, Kara discovered her love for dermatology while working as a medical assistant at a dermatology practice in Orlando, FL. During her PA program, she completed additional dermatology training in her clinical rotations. 

Kara is passionate about staying current and providing thorough care for every patient based on the most up to date evidence. She loves connecting with her patients and strives to create a personalized, inviting environment and help patients receive the most comprehensive and compassionate care possible.

Outside of work, Kara enjoys spending time with family, Italian food, staying active, and watching true crime documentaries.
